As part of Careers Week, we will be offering all our Bridge students the opportunity to visit Harry Potter World. The trip will run for half of the year group on the 5th of March 2024 and the other half of the Year group on the 7th March 2024. During the trip students will have a guided tour of Harry Potter World, where the career opportunities involved in the production of the films will be explored. Students will also take part in a STEM lesson where they will either delve into the mathematical skills including scale factor, percentages and fractions to discover how the half-giant Hagrid was brought to life on screen. Or they will take part in a lesson focusing on the Art of Foley, where students will discover the importance of sound in film and experience one of the most intriguing jobs in film, the Foley artist.
