The Hinckley School – Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Drum and Keyboard Lessons
Dear Parents / Carers,
Starting in September 2024, Junior Academy of Music have vacancies for pupils to begin Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Drum and Keyboard Lessons. The lessons will take place during school hours and instruments can be provided for use during the sessions.
Lesson costs will be as follows: -
30 minutes in group of 4 maximum £ 8.50 per child, per lesson
20 minutes individual £ 11.50 per child, per lesson
30 minutes individual £ 17.00 per child, per lesson
Please note: Drums and Bass Guitar are only available as individual lessons
Lessons will be taught by qualified music tutors who are all DBS checked.
Parents will be invoiced by email in advance of each half-term's tuition. If you wish to terminate lessons, then notice must be given in writing to Junior Academy of Music directly before the end of the previous term. Refunds are only given for lessons cancelled due to staff absence and not for pupil absence because of sickness or holiday.
Our music lessons are based on popular contemporary music. Our method is one of positive encouragement to promote both instrument skills and self-confidence. Whilst we do offer pupils the chance to study towards Rock School graded examinations our main focus will be on learning the skills to perform popular music in our annual live events.
