Malaga Trip Inspires International Ambitions
An action-packed adventure that immersed students in the delights of the Spanish language and culture.
During Inspire Week, students flew to Malaga with Mrs Garcia and Mr Hillier, to be immersed in the language and vibrant Spanish culture. The group enjoyed Spanish dance lessons, sampled local cuisine, visited water parks, explored museums and much more during their action packed stay, all while putting their skills to the test by using Spanish at every opportunity. Parents and carers at home stayed up to date with the agenda of each day thanks to the trip’s Telegram group, which was filled with regular exciting updates, photos and videos from our trip leaders.
Mrs Garcia, Head of MFL and our trip leader said, “The Málaga trip was an absolute success. The students did the school proud with their manners, their maturity and their willingness to try out new things. Students enjoyed a wide range of activities, including exploring the Old Town in Málaga, visiting the Cathedral and the Alcazaba, attending a guided tour of the Picasso Museum, a Flamenco Workshop and a full day at the Waterpark. They also had time at the beach and in a traditional market with fresh products. Several students have reported since our trip that they want to move to Spain!”
Thank you to everyone involved for making this such an unforgettable experience!
