Stars of the West End Deliver Blood Brothers Workshop
Workshop leaders praised The Hinckley School students as 'amongst the best they had worked with' during Blood Brothers masterclass.
Drama students had a real treat last week when they took part in a Blood Brothers masterclass with Mike and Steve from ‘Stage Ed ‘ theatre company, who played Sammy and Mickey in the west end production of Blood Brothers for over ten years.
They shared their expertise, passion and knowledge of the play with the students and navigated the workshop to help the GCSE students with their written paper.
The drama studio was buzzing with excitement all day as the students looked at different scenes, the context and themes of the play and watched a fantastic performance from Steve the masterclass host.
Mrs Cook, Head of Drama and Performing Arts was thrilled with the feedback from Stage Ed, who said that students from The Hinckley School were amongst the best they had worked with. What an enjoyable and valuable enrichment experience for all who took part! Well done!
