Ashton Care Home Christmas Concert
Drama students and musicians entertained residents at Ashton Care Home, by spreading festive joy.
The residents of the local Ashton Care home were in for a treat on Tuesday, as the Year 10 Drama students and musicians of The Hinckley School entertained and brightened up their December morning.
The event commenced with the talented Year 10 Drama students performing an entertaining and engaging rendition of Shrek the Musical filled with humour and creativity. Their hard work and dedication shone through as they encouraged the residents to participate and filled the room with joy.
Following the pantomime, our brilliant musicians took the spotlight, performing an array of classical, jazz and popular music to impress the residents. At the end, the choir joined in, leading the residents in a rousing sing-along of Christmas classics and carols.
The morning was a resounding success, showcasing the skill of all the performers. We are immensely proud of their commitment and talent, which helped brighten the Ashton Car home residents’ morning with cheer and festivities.
We are incredibly proud of our young people for bringing so many smiles to peoples faces.
