Book Buzz
Every student in Year 7 received a free book thanks to our partnership with Book Buzzz
The Hinckley School has once again taken part in BookTrust’s Bookbuzz programme, which aims to get
children reading. As part of this annual event, just before half term, every child in Year 7 chose their own book from seventeen Bookbuzz titles to take home and keep.
Bookbuzz is run by BookTrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity that transforms lives by getting children and families reading and we hope that Bookbuzz will encourage Year 7 students to read more frequently. Reading helps to improve student wellbeing, sparks interesting conversations and inspires creativity.
We hope students have enjoyed their new books and we can’t wait to hear their reviews!
