Enjoying Our Electronics Club

In our Thursday KS3 Electronics Club with Mr Harrison, students have been building circuits to create simple timers and counters.

Following this week’s session, Mr Harrison shared an insight into their progress and what they can look forward to in future enrichment classes, “Today the group moved on to adding speakers and modifying the circuits to generate sound. Students are now working on adding frequency modulation to create different sound effects. In the coming weeks they will go on to look at using microcontrollers to control sequences of lights, and build programmable music and sound circuits.”

The group have really enjoyed getting hands on while building their own circuits and proudly shared the knowledge they have acquired so far with other staff members who visited the club. Well done everyone.
